Kercock Fishings is one of the most prolific beats on the Middle Tay, with an average of around 150 salmon caught each year. The beat attracts many regular and returning anglers due to its comfortable fishing hut, very easy wading, and excellent ghillies. Both fly and spinning are permitted throughout the season.

The beat offers two boats and double-bank fishing over two miles, allowing eight rods plus two house rods to cover deep holding pools and faster flowing streams. This variety of water means fish can be found in a wide range of conditions and at all times of the season.
